RAJ THACKERAY: A FALLEN MESSIAH

Lyla Bavadam in the article “Hate Campaign “( Frontline, Nov.21 ) rightly states that he is “just a power-broker interested in publicity and cheap politics “.Raj has plummeted from bad to worse by starting a hate campaigns against the North Indians. His evil designs if followed up to their logical conclusions would lead to fragmentation of India. He needs to be punished for his bonhomie with heinous crimes, committed in the name of protecting the rights of Marathi Manus. He seems to have got more than he deserved. It’s time to kill his illusion that he is part and parcel of national mainstream politics. For people like Raj, who are suffering from mental disorder, the ideal place is lunatic asylum. We don’t need likes of Raj, who are governed by vested interests instead of dreams of making India a better place to live in.
