Considering the onslaught of the market forces , it is not very difficult to to understand why the mainstream filmmakers don’t wish to rise above the beaten track . They simply cannot afford to be earthy in depiction of trials and tribulations of women on the silver screen . However ,it’s a harsh reality that even present-age viewers are not interested in viewing a movie defining the actual place of women in society .They are used to viewing women moulded in sensuous and glamorous elements rather than examine her as a figure facing the oddities of life with courage . Probably , this is why the directors are afraid of taking a step in right direction in creation of female-oriented movies .
