INDIA SHOULD NOT JOIN SPACE RACE

India need not to enter in space race , wasting huge sums of money in projects having nothing to do with welfare of people .The developing countries cannot have the luxury to materialise space dreams at the cost of problems plaguing the downtroddens . However , one cannot ignore the fact that the ISRO's grateful accomplishments have changed the face of India .Right from it's beginning in mid-1970s , it has been involved in several key projects aimed at social benefits . Yes , our space programmes need to be people-oriented , helping India to frame better disaster relief operations , mapping of agricultural areas and locating new groundwater spots . In sum , the space programmes need to make substantial contributions to the development of India instead of being swayed by flashy manned
missions .

Too right! Anything you need put in orbit can go up on an Ariane. Or a shuttle, if you can bring yourself to deal with the power mad Yanks.

By the way, if you keep being this sensible and intelligent, you will never get to be part of the government...

I do not accept this.We too must challenge and compete with the world and prove our capacity.World understood now that we can enter this field and with low cost are able to send rockets in to the space.Other countries are requesting we people to send their space ships by our country.This is a credit to India.At times rather than some important aminities these things become essential for a sprouting up country.At the time of war with China we Indians have sacrificed food of one night on every saturday.Indians donated money clothes to our soldiers.Every thing should get seelf supported in future.Let's suffer at present.But,we must look about the bright future of India.

Dear Ramrali19 ,

It's another thing to remain in tune with times but it's altogeter a differnt thing to waste money and resources on chasing illusions . Aren't we facing the threat of total elimination because of the wild scientific creations ? What about the waste material left in the space by the US and other countries ?

Dear Pandey,In one way you are correct.But,in another way you are wrong.In a big stream of water we are all passing.You shoul never try to stop and go back of this type of scientific advance.If we do that we can never compete with other countries.As a good treasure is kept by our ancestors in Vedas,may be by virtue of their deep meditation;But in fact the specific type of weapons present with Arjuna in Maha Bharatha War,indicates our advancement.The pollution in the space will also be cleaned in one way or the other by these scientists who polluted the space.If not the present scientist the tomorrows scince will help in such conditions.Let's hoe for the best and be ready to face the worst even.Now,yesterday there was a heavy earth quake in China.Who brought it? We must really appreciate Chinese for inventing the earth quake readings at first.Now,the present situation may raise to invent a new tool to know about earth quake very early and move the persons from that spot.Let's hope it.Scince is God!The education is God which gives wisdom to every body.If we lag behind,there is every possibility of invasion of other country persons into India.So,I think that I am correct in my view.Any how thank you for raising a good problem among the readers of this site.

Dear Raramrali19,

I have no real objections to the arguments presented by you but had these been logical and valid there would not been cry of having environment-friendly measures ? Today , the major problem haunting the world community is how to save the planet from all type of wastes . Adding space waste to this list would only further aggravate the crisis .That's what I mean . In many countries there is food crisis . Why the money spent on development of missiles and useless space programmes is not diverted to these countries ?

Dear Pandey-Several great changes have taken place on this earth.Several calamities several havocs known and un known.This is all simply a passing psrade.Once upon a time Hindus (Bharat India )stood first in every aspect.Now too we must stand in front as fierst.This is a competetion.At a time we were able to launch several space ships in the space,due to which we earned money too from the other countries.This is a technology.For everygood work there will be a bad-The bad is you are telling the cleaning problem of space.It will be done again first by our scientists only.A new life will sprout up in the space to eat or clean the waste in the space.That may not be like actual life that may be the phenomenon of nature's self cleaning.Don't be worried.As regards the world poor lacking food-is due to the immoral poleticians.If we don't go forward,the technology and work will be forgotten as the old dhanurveda works have vanished in this country.Even though we don't go into this field others go forward and may target we Indians to suppress by attacking with the new wepon technology as is being done now at Jaipur by terrorists.Hence,forget all the consequences and try to do as per our intelligence-the time will settle the matters.Again "time"is God.This is not mantra yuga.This is the age of yantra yuga (machienes)and also may be tantra yuga(cunning deeds-(yuddha tntra?too)No dharma yuddha is fougt today as told in Bharatha yuddha)Hence,I request that we too must go ahead.

Dear Ramrali19 ,

Very interesting remarks indeed .But if we view things with eyes of wisdom ,we are moving towards total annihilation . If China has missiles that can cover the range of more than 10,000 Kms then it becomes imperative for India and Pakistan to develop Agni and Latfa (Whatever it may be ) .That's what development in field of science has come to mean .Pakistan has the guts to taste such missiles even at the cost of money borrowed from other nations ....We are making mockery of our our sense and sesibilities .

Dear Ramrali Rao ,

Let's us accept the fact it's " Andha Yuga ".It's not sign of wisdom that we copycat mannerism of others without bothering about the consequences . Such wild projects cannot be entertained in a nation where a vast section of people fall in the BPL section . First give them what is essential for an individual to live a life of dignity . Then think of creating miracles in the field of science . There is no point in being hailed as a developed nation if common man is suffering in want of basic amenities !!

I admit your ideas.But,keep in mind that our country people lost the rhythmisity-and they are lacking a good leader who can lead them on a good path.Further,no Rules and regulations are being followed by our nation(people).Birth Control-Food production ,education to every body must be concentrated first.Hard and fast road rules and every thing must be brought in to regulerisation.Because of this irregularity we are lacking behind.The other developed nations are now already following the Rules framed by their country strictly.In India the Rules are there but,they will be broken by our leaders only.One has to larn the rhythmisity from other countries now.Wherever good it should be adopted.Which ever is bad must be curtailed.Think now about these problems stray dogs wandering on th roads biting public,carrying rabies.And leaving all animals on roads ,troubling the public.There is self sufficiency in India.But there is no regulerisation of the distribution of products.Only educated think of this where as the un educated never think of this.90% became selfish and not thinking of the consequences.

Dear Ramrali19,

I am really happy that finally you have anticipated what I was really trying to convey . I am not against space programmes and scientific progress but a nation which is struggling hard to raise the standard of people cannot think of making colonies on moon ? Such worthless projects aren't made for nations like India .India should first concentrate on developing a sound system of governance ,which allows common men to live a meaningful life .In a nation where you have to travel four or five Kms to have a bucket of water , where patients die in want of right treatment and where you have to greaese the palm at every stage to get the job done I don't think to be able to send man in space holds any purpose or meaning .What's the point in giving way to projects like " Chandrayaan " . There is proverb in Hindi " Ghar Mein Nahin Daana , Amma Chali Bhunanein " . Let's be wise in our choices as they determine our future ....But I appreciate your thought patterns and seriousness -the way you handle the subjects .I want more such thoughtful application of mind on your part .
