BUTA:TIME TO STEP DOWN

The Supreme Court's decision would certainly prevent the Governors from taking for granted the Constitutional provisions .For last few years Governors , acting on the behest of the political bosses , have been functioning more as political agents instead of being watchdogs upholding the rules of law . The decision has come at a wrong moment for the Congress party supposedly in makeover process. Ironicallly, the decision has ripped off its claim that under leadership of PM Manmohan Singh it has been pursuing clean politics .In future one hopes that likes of Buta Singh will be prevented from occupying the highest -office , preventing blatant distortion of Constitutional principles .
